Events We Cater Across San Francisco
A mobile pizzeria adapts to the event, not the other way around. Here is how our wood-fired setup works at weddings, corporate gatherings, birthdays, and private parties, and what changes between them.
FOUR EVENT TYPES · LIVE WOOD-FIRED STATION · SAN FRANCISCO & BAY AREA
The event decides the setup
Wedding pizza catering and corporate event catering ask different things of the same oven. A couple wants the station to feel like part of the reception. A company wants guests fed the moment they walk in from the parking lot. We plan the arrival window, the serving pace, and the station footprint around whichever one you are hosting.
Everything below is the same wood-fired trailer, the same dough, the same peel. What moves is the timing, the space we need, and how the evening is paced.
RELAXED RECEPTIONS
Weddings
Wedding pizza catering has moved from novelty to a real option for couples who want a relaxed reception without losing quality. A live pizza station gives guests something to do during cocktail hour, handles mixed dietary needs at one counter, and keeps food coming without a plated-service pause.
We coordinate our arrival and service window around your ceremony and first dance. Venues with strict load-in times get a written schedule, so your planner, your venue contact, and our team are working from the same page.
WHAT WE COORDINATE
Load-in windows, ceremony timing, and the service window around your first dance.
WHAT YOU GET IN WRITING
A schedule your venue and planner can hold us to, including any load-in limits.
GUESTS ARRIVE IN WAVES
Corporate events
Corporate catering lives and dies by timing. Guests arrive in waves, the program has a fixed start, and nobody wants a cold buffet. A wood-fired pizza truck outside the office, or a pop-up pizzeria in a courtyard, solves that. Made-to-order pizza absorbs arrivals better than a line that sits.
We have served client receptions, team celebrations, and company milestones where the food needed to be good and the service needed to be invisible. The station runs without a microphone moment, so your program keeps its start time.
ARRIVAL-FRIENDLY
Pizzas come out one at a time, so a guest who shows up twenty minutes late still gets a hot one.
QUIET SERVICE
No announcements, no buffet line forming before your remarks. We work to your run of show.
OFFICE OR COURTYARD
The trailer parks curbside where the venue allows it, or we build a pop-up station inside.
Birthdays
Birthday parties are where the mobile format shines with smaller groups. A backyard, a rented space, a park pavilion: the trailer or station comes to you. Kids eat first, adults linger, and nobody is stuck at a grill.
We can run the station as the whole menu or alongside a cake and drinks table. If the birthday is for a milestone, we will pace the service so the pizza does not compete with the toast.
SMALLER GROUPS
Backyards, park pavilions, and rented rooms all work. We size the station to the space, not the other way around.
KIDS FIRST, ADULTS LINGER
We serve the youngest guests early so the party keeps moving while the adults stay at the table.
ALONGSIDE A CAKE
The station can be the entire menu or sit beside your cake and drinks table without stepping on it.
MILESTONE PACING
For a milestone birthday we hold a gap in service so the toast gets the room it deserves.
Private events are the most varied category we serve, which is why we plan each one from scratch.
Private parties
Engagement dinners, anniversary gatherings, neighborhood block parties, holiday get-togethers. Private party catering is the most varied category we serve, which is why we plan each one from scratch. Guest counts range from twenty to a few hundred.
The constant is that a wood-fired oven on site turns catering into part of the evening rather than a chore. Guests drift toward the fire, the smell does the introductions, and you spend the night talking to your own guests.
TYPICAL PRIVATE EVENTS
- Engagement dinners and anniversaries
- Neighborhood block parties
- Holiday get-togethers and reunions
- Small-group celebrations of twenty to a few hundred
A pop-up pizzeria works indoors too
Not every event has outdoor space. A pop-up pizzeria is built inside your venue, which makes it a fit for ballrooms, warehouses, and galleries. We bring the oven and the station; your venue provides the floor space and access. Good Life Pizza Co. runs this format in the Phoenix East Valley for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and community celebrations, and the same approach works here.
What the venue provides
Floor space for the station, a clear path for the oven, and access to power if the setup calls for it. We confirm this during the site walk-through.
What we bring
The wood-fired oven, the prep station, the peel, and the staff to run it. The station is designed to fit a room without swallowing the dance floor.
Rooms that work well
Ballrooms, warehouses, galleries, and lofts with a service entrance. If the room has a load-in window, we build the schedule around it.
How it feels to your guests
Guests see fire, smell dough, and get a hot pizza in their hands within minutes. That is the whole pitch. It is social, it is fast, and it gives people a reason to move around the room.
For hosts, it means the food is handled by someone else while you are actually present at your own event. You are not watching a warming tray; you are in the photographs.
SEE
An open oven mouth and a live station, not a chafing dish.
SMELL
Dough and char from the fire, which is what pulls people over.
TASTE
A hot slice in hand within minutes of ordering it.
PLANNING AHEAD
Weather and season
San Francisco weather is its own variable. Outdoor setups need a rain plan, and wind affects an open flame more than most people expect.
COVERED AREA
A tent, awning, or garage edge over the station keeps service running through a light drizzle.
INDOOR PIVOT
If the forecast turns, we can move to a pop-up station inside the venue where the room allows it.
SHIFTED WINDOW
A windy afternoon may mean we serve an hour later when the breeze drops. We agree this in advance.
Better to plan it and not need it. We talk through the backup during planning, so nobody is making a decision in the rain.
Booking for a specific date
Weekends book first, especially in wedding season. Send us your date, venue, and guest count and we will confirm availability before you commit to anything. If your date is flexible, tell us and we will suggest windows that give you more options.
DATE
The specific day, or a range if you are still deciding.
VENUE
The address and the room or outdoor area, so we can check load-in and space.
GUEST COUNT
An estimate is fine. We size the station and the pace to the number you expect.
Questions before you book
Do you cater events outside San Francisco?
We serve the city and surrounding Bay Area venues. Share your address and we will confirm whether it fits our service area.
Can you work with our other vendors?
Yes. We coordinate with bars, planners, and venues so the timing lines up.
What happens if it rains?
We plan a backup during the consultation, whether that is a covered area or an indoor pivot.
NEXT STEP
Tell us the date and we will check it
Send your date, venue, and guest count. We will confirm availability and walk you through the formats that fit your event.
